This was Mom's dress. She passed it down to me and I wore it a few times. Recently I tried to put it on and it no longer fits. It's time to pass it on again. Perhaps Jenny?

Spring Flower of the Day

I'm not really sure what this flower is called. I call them snowballs because that's what they look like. They grow on a bush and bloom only in the Spring.

This is a photo of my Grandpa, his brothers and cousins. They had their own band called the Lake Shore Orchestra. Grandpa is the fourth from the left. This photo was taken circa 1910.

These roses have the most amazing scent. When I think of the scent of roses this is the one I think of. I wish you could smell it.

Marin Rats. That's what Michael calls them. Snapped these on a hike around the corner from my house.

This is a wild flower that is very annoying, but pretty. I don't know the technical name, but we call them wild onions. When you pull them out of the ground they have tiny little onions at the end. They have a very strong onion smell. Each little flower head becomes a new plant, which is what makes them annoying. They get everywhere, especially where you don't want them.

Here is todays spring flower, a white Bleeding Heart from my garden. It's raining today so feels less like spring than it has been.

New Blog

Well I've finally done it. My own blog. Yippee. This may be a slow process so be patient. I will slowly start adding photos and scrapbook layouts. Here's a photo of my craft space before GOBI class.
